THE INAUGURAL GATHERING

July 31 – August 2, 2026

Mineral Point, Wisconsin · Maximum six guests · All inclusive

SHAPE OF THE WEEKEND

01 — Friday Evening · Arrival & The Long Table

Friday evening begins simply — drinks, introductions, and a casual meal at the house. Time to arrive before the weekend asks anything of you. Meet your fellow guests, settle into your room, and let the pace of Mineral Point begin to work on you.

Arrival from 4pm · Welcome cocktail hour · Casual dinner at the house

02 — Saturday Morning · The Farmers Market

We begin Saturday with our local chef and culinary guide, Nicole Bujewski, as our guide through Mineral Point's small but mighty farmers market — meeting the growers and gathering ingredients that will find their way to our table later that evening.

Breakfast starting @ 7am · Depart for Farmers Market @ 8:30am

03 — Saturday Midday · A Driftless Wine & Cheese Journey

Saturday midday is a grazing lunch at the American Wine Project — a relaxed, delicious introduction to the wines and cheeses of the Driftless region. We'll explore the vineyards and farms behind each pour and each plate, with local charcuterie alongside. You'll leave with a deeper appreciation for this corner of Wisconsin.

American Wine Project · noon–1:30pm · Grazing lunch included

04 — Saturday Afternoon · Negative Space

Saturday afternoon is yours. Peruse the downtown galleries and shops. Read in the sunroom. Walk the Cheese Country Trail. Work on your own craft — whether that's knitting, writing, painting, or simply sitting somewhere quiet with nothing asked of you. We hold this time deliberately — it is part of the retreat, not what's left over after the retreat.

If you'd like a little guidance, I'm happy to arrange one-on-one gallery visits, spa appointments, or a private tour of one of Mineral Point's historic homes. Just ask.

Free time 1:30–5pm · Optional curated experiences available

05 — Saturday Evening · Cooking Demonstration & Dinner at The Book Kitchen

Saturday evening we gather at The Book Kitchen with Nicole Bujewski, founder and culinary force behind one of the Mineral Point’s most beloved gathering places — a hands-on cooking demonstration built around the fresh, local produce we gathered that morning at the farmers market. From field to table in a single day, ending with the dinner we made together, wine, warmth, and good conversation.

The Book Kitchen · 151 High Street · 5:30pm · Dinner included

06 — Sunday Morning · A Quiet Departure

Breakfast together. A slow morning. Before you head home we'll share our favorite spots, hidden gems, and things still worth exploring — so the weekend doesn't have to end the moment you leave.

Breakfast at the house · Departure by 2pm
