• Shannon, the founder of Still Point and Art en Object (design), hosts every retreat personally. She is there from Friday arrival through Sunday departure — welcoming guests, guiding the program, and making sure the weekend feels exactly as it was meant to.

  • A maximum of six. This is intentional — Still Point is designed to feel like a gathering among friends, not a group tour. The intimacy is the point.

  • Everything except transportation to Mineral Point and personal spending in town. Your rate covers two nights lodging, Friday welcome cocktail hour and dinner, Saturday farmers market morning, Saturday wine and cheese grazing lunch, Saturday cooking demonstration and dinner at The Book Kitchen, both breakfasts and wine and beer with meals.

  • Absolutely — and many guests do. You'll be welcomed into a small group of like-minded people and leave with new friends. Solo guests are paired with another single guest in shared room situations only if they choose the loft.

  • The Jones House is located at 311 High Street in the heart of Mineral Point, Wisconsin — walking distance to galleries, shops, restaurants, and historic sites.

  • Guests stay on the second floor in four private rooms — two queen bedrooms, a single room, and a loft with twin beds. Every room is curated with original artwork by Wisconsin and Chicago artists.

  • Yes — all guests share a generous Victorian bathroom stocked with luxury linens and toiletries. It features a clawfoot tub, walk-in shower, and two pedestal sinks. There is a half-bath on the first floor.

  • The loft has two twin beds and is a cozy, charming space accessed from the second floor with a back staircase that leads down to the main floor through a quiet office. It is ideal for two guests or can accommodate a solo guest.

  • The guest rooms are on the second floor and accessed by stairs. Still Point is not currently wheelchair accessible.

  • Yes — there is parking available at the house.

  • We accept payment via Venmo and Zelle. Details provided at time of booking.

  • Deposits are non-refundable after June 1, 2026. Full balance is refunded if cancellation is received before July 1, 2026. Cancellations after July 1 are non-refundable. In the unlikely event that Still Point needs to cancel a retreat, all payments will be refunded in full.

  • Mineral Point is one of the great quiet artist enclaves of the Midwest — galleries, artisan shops, historic sites, excellent restaurants, and the Cheese Country Trail are all within walking distance of the house. We'll share a curated list of our favorite spots when you arrive.
